What makes my writings different is that these subjects are all approached from a robust but very open theological point of view. Some people call this approach Applied Theology, or Practical Theology.

My latest project is "God, Sex and Gender – An Introduction". This book was published by Wiley-Blackwell in 2011. It is essential reading for everyone who wants to discover a positive Christian understanding of sex and gender, beyond the cautious conservatism of much church teaching, and the liberalism of the secular world.
